Every year in July we start scouting the gardens for the daylilies that will most likely be in bloom for the annual Delaware Valley Daylily Society Show which is held at Longwood Gardens! We get up about 5am and go out and start gathering our flowers for the show! It is a leap of faith as they are not quite awake and open! We then drive a little over an hour to Longwood and nervously begin prepping our entries.
You can check out more about Longwood Gardens which is a wonderful place to visit year round.
